General Summary:Responisble for assisting the Director of Engagement in planning, scheduling and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of residents and conducive to their physical, mental and social well-being. Help to ensure the activity programs are appropriately presented by team members. Job Functions:- Plan, coordinates, and implements the resident’s activities to meet physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and social needs.- Work closely with the Department Heads to coordinate space, equipment, food, and transportation for planned events and activities.- Maintain a safe activities program, including driving, events, space, planning, mobility.- Act as a liaison between residents and the Administrator, RN, or the Resident Care Coordinator.- Responsible for the smooth, efficient, and positive operation of planned events.- Responsible for resident satisfaction and retention through the development of appropriate and timely activities that meet the needs of the Resident population.- Evaluate the capabilities, needs, and interests of new Residents and periodically of each resident.- Decorate the common areas appropriately for the time and season.- Maintain and work within the department budget.- Work cooperatively with other employees, management, residents, and their families.- Maintain a positive attitude in all aspects of your day to day activities, and represent the organization in a positive light during all events.- Complete other tasks assigned by the Administrator.- participate in on-site training as requested.- Assist as needed with marketing events- Become a full participant in the success of the organization through customer services, promotion and recruitment of new residents.
** $75,000 base salary plus commission. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. - Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop an organized marketing and sales approach to effectively move prospects through the sales process to achieve budgeted occupancy targets.- Responsible for maintaining budgeted occupancy by both generating the number of qualified inquiries, referrals, tours, and then effectively closing the sale.- Utilizing company sales methods, achieve targeted closing ratios through effective information gathering and presenting valid value-based options that “make sense” to the lead.- Receive and/or respond to all incoming calls for inquiries. Follow-up with the inquiries via effective telephone calls, cards/letters, mailing of marketing information and other. Enter all available information in marketing database.- Keep referral, mailing list and customer information up to date. Identify, build and develop an effective network of community and professional sources for potential resident referrals and establish relationships that assure continuing opportunities for the community through spending part of the workweek out of the community engaged in these activities.- Achieve and maintain required number of marketing contacts per week. Maintain outside referral database of qualified contacts.- Develop active referral base within the community by making personal visits and sponsoring networking functions at the community. Accurately represent the community, its services and pricing structure in all interactions.- Monitor condition of all model rooms and respite rooms daily. Ensure that all rooms are ready for tour activity. In conjunction with Sales/Marketing Director & Executive Director, furnish, decorate and appoint model and respite rooms.- Conduct morning walk-through of community to ensure readiness for community tours. Ensure all common areas needing attention are addressed at the beginning of each day, prior to any tour activity.- Assist with collection of data for the marketing report weekly.- Comfortable attending appropriate networking functions in the area.- Ensure lead database is up-to-date and accurate. Complete input of all required information (leads and activity) timely and accurately. - Assist with the processing of all required information necessary to complete a successful move-in, as requested.- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Executive Director to execute a creative marketing and advertising plan for the community, seek advertising resources, and coordinate public relations efforts. Manage all social media platforms.- Assist with the completion of a Competitive Market Analysis at least twice a year or as directed to do so by the Director of Sales and Marketing and/or Executive Director.- Participate in daily “Stand-Up” meetings to communicate key issues within the department, if requested by Executive Director.- Perform day-to-day clerical work connected with the position.- Ensure knowledge base remains current regarding aging, assisted living and dementia-specific care through continuing education.- Assist with the setting-up and tearing down of special events. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.- Support a positive and professional image through actions and dress.- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all team members, residents and guests, following established safety standards.- Perform other duties consistent with position as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing. The Med Tech Caregiver administers medications and treatments, measures vital signs and weight; and performs other health services tasks. The Med Tech Caregiver also works with physicians, implement physician orders, and documents pertinent information. The Med Tech Caregiver works closely with home health, hospice, and emergency protocols. Acts as the facility supervisor when management staff not present. Supervises resident assistants to ensure daily completion of their duties. You report directly to the Facility Registered Nurse or the Administrator. This person is responsible for maintaining a superior level of quality service, and cleanliness at all times. General Summary:Responsible for assisting Residents in their daily living routines. Duties are performed under the indirect supervision of the Nurse or Supervisor, with established procedures and guidelines. Essential Functions/Major ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the “Assisted Daily Living” duties and functions that allow the Residents to be clean and comfortable. i.e., transferring, mobility, bathing, changing briefs, peri-care, toileting, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, changing bed linens, etc. Physically ensures the Residents get to appointments such as salons, transportation, activities, and meals, including pushing wheelchairs, following closely behind walkers, keeping track of and responding to schedules.Responsible for the Residents under their care & recording communications for co-workers, shift summaries and care notes.
